whhhhhooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I've been gone way too long, and I appologize to everyone and all my friends (that is if I still have any on DA as negligent as I have been of coming back). Its just I got really busy with my little hole-in-the-wall manga cafe (first of its kind in Minnesota, and really only known by word of mouth), you know gathering more inventory and trading off unread/unwanted series and increasing my readability for the customers... all few of them! ;-; you have no idea how few people actually are open about their japanophile enthusiasism here, wah!

one another sad note, Japan is enacting its law prohibiting the distribution and creation of images of characters under the age of 18 in sexual situations (actually this includes nudity, so say goodbye Doremon among the least) outside and within the country. The same thing is basically going to happen here in the states eventually, I've heard!!! I can understand having pedophile pictures of actual children as against the law, but when its in a drawn format of fictional characters this should be a different matter! I add even literature in its written form isn't under the same restrictions.. I don't know how many "classical" books have characters unter 18 in compromising situations, such as "Bastard out of Carolina" has the rape and molestation of a pre-teen, but if you try and list something like a yaoi novel on Ebay you get blacklisted!!!!

(whoa, rant much???)

by the way! if anyone is interested, the place where I trade and deal for manga, anime, books, and japan goods in general is at: mangatude.com (you basically can trade off your unwanted books for books you want, if they're avaliable. In my opinion this is better than bookmooch, which never has anything I'm looking for, and at unreasonable terms).
