Vampire Hunter D pairing

I was overthinking this D pairing thing for a few weeks before I finally decided on one person. The person I thought would be as beautiful as D, his father..... Needless to say I thought about D, before he really became obsessed with tracking down his own father, then I wondered why he'd be so inclined.

Obviously, this pairing is "kinda" of how D became such a strong dhampiel, most dhampiels, like half-elves, live longer than humans, but not nearly as long as theif full blooded parents. Then it dawned on me the ability of Vampire's victims to remain young as long as they're "infected" by their attackers (though most sleep, frozen as they were when attacked...). Then, I decided this might be a reason why D remains so powerful and lives so long, he's a victim of his own fathers bloodlust. (and D is not shackled by sleep, as most humans are, because of his dhampiel nature... >.< well it made sense to me.... although, I'm not exactly sure where D's mother is during all this... maybe because they're both in the cemetary, she's died....
